1995 Toyota MR2 Turbo

Update 8/11/02: This car is now SOLD and is in the hands of its new owner. Thanks to everybody that expressed an interest.

I purchased this exceptional car back in April of 2002, intending to replace my 1993 Turbo with it. However, I've found that I prefer my 93. Why? Because my 93 is white and the 95 is red. I find that the red car turns a lot of heads and I prefer not to attract too much attention :-) .

The car has not been modified in any way with the exception of the "TRD" die-cut decals on each fender, applied by a “previous owner”. The only thing I've done to the car since I purchased it is to change the oil with Mobil-1 10W30 (since I wasn't sure what was already in there) and replace the oil filter. It recently passed the new two-speed Texas emissions test with no problems. A scan of the report can be found here. And no, it doesn't have an automatic transmission :-)

The car drives exceptionally well, with no shimmy at high speed and no hesitation during acceleration. I have the service records from the previous owners. Please note that at present the timing-belt replacement that was due at 60,000 miles has not been performed. If the car does not sell quickly then I may get this service performed before advertising it again. The only defect with the car is a small door ding on the passenger side behind the door and a number of tiny stone chips on the front hood. I tried to get some photos of the chips but they are too small for my cheap camera to resolve. The chips are in photos 19 & 20 - see if you can make them out. You can only see them if you get within 2-3 feet of the hood.
